General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory Provisions

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the rights and obligations of the operator of the information portal GARDENFA: GARDENFA: Pebia s.r.o., Prievaly 311, 90634 Prievaly, ID No: 45902542, VAT No: SK2023127744 (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) and the users of the portal (hereinafter referred to as “Users”).

1.2 The portal serves as an information platform connecting people interested in work, assistance in gardening, or companies offering gardening services with people interested in beautification, maintenance, and assistance in the garden.

2. Registration and User Account

2.1 Registration is required for full use of the portal’s services. The user can register as an individual interested in work/assistance in gardening or as a company offering gardening services.

2.2 During registration, the user is obliged to provide true and up-to date information.

2.3 The user is responsible for protecting their login credentials.

3. Portal Services

3.1 The portal provides information services and facilitates contact between individuals interested in work/assistance in gardening and companies offering gardening services for households and businesses interested in such services.

4. Personal Data Protection

4.1 The Operator commits to protecting users personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations and the Privacy Policy.

4.2 Email addresses and other user data will be used only for the purposes of operating the portal and will not be provided to third parties without the user’s consent.

5. Rights and Obligations of the User

5.1 The user agrees to use the portal in accordance with these GTC and applicable legal regulations.

5.2 The user must not misuse the portal for spreading unsolicited advertising, harmful content, or for any illegal activities.

6. Rights and Obligations of the Operator

6.1 The Operator commits to providing the portal’s services with due professional care.

6.2 The Operator reserves the right to change, limit, or terminate the operation of the portal or its parts at any time.

7. Liability for Damages

7.1 The Operator is not liable for damages caused by improper use of the portal or by the provision of incorrect information by the user.

7.2 The Operator is not liable for damages resulting from internet connection failures or other technical problems beyond its control.

8. Termination of Portal Use

8.1 The user can terminate the use of the portal at any time by canceling their registration.

8.2 The Operator reserves the right to cancel the user’s account in case of violation of these GTC.

9. Final Provisions

9.1 These GTC come into effect on August 1, 2024.

9.2 The Operator reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. Users will be informed about the changes through the portal.

9.3 If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid or ineffective, it shall be replaced by a provision whose meaning is as close as possible to the invalid provision.

9.4 These GTC are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
